What characterizes HiTorc
Vecoplan describes a motor controlled by a variator that directly transmits the movement to the rotor, avoiding transmission elements such as belts or clutches. The brand dates its development to 2003: it is an established technology, not a novelty presented for the first time this year.
Measure energy and production together
Define where the energy is measured and what auxiliaries it includes. Relate the kWh of the period to the useful tons of the same batch. A lower hourly consumption does not prove an improvement if the flow rate also drops. Record output size, stops and tool status.
Maintain the cutting system
A different drive does not eliminate the need to inspect the blades, counterblades and housings. Confirm the references according to the installed rotor and the manual. If comparing equipment, keep material and reduction target equivalent.
